Jessica and Shane’s wedding was a real treat. I personally love shooting waterfront weddings so when I arrived for this Pavilion at Weatherly wedding and saw the epic view of the Potomac River I was in awe.
As part of my wedding prep before the big day, I research wedding venues ahead of time to get a feel for the environment I’ll be working in. That said, seeing the epic view in person was completely different than what I saw online. The pictures don’t do it justice!
Anyway, there’s something about the waterside air and sounds that spark an extra level of creativity in me. We were able to get some really cool photos throughout the day and thankfully Jessica and Shane were up for anything when it came to portrait time.
The day went off without a hitch. Thanks to proper planning, beautiful weather, and an overall awesome team helping to carry the day forward. We celebrated Jessica and Shane’s love with an amazing outdoor ceremony and were lucky enough to spend most of the day outside.
This Pavilion at Weatherly wedding day ended with fireworks and a sparkler exit. That’s one way to go out with a bang.
