I had the pleasure of capturing Chelsea and Nitin’s Historic Rosemont Manor wedding day. This intimate gathering was part one of their two-part wedding saga.
Their American celebration took place in November at the Historic Rosemont Manor in Berryville, Virginia just a few short days from Thanksgiving. Post-Thanksgiving tradition calls for the immediate setup of Christmas lights and decorations, but Chelsea was adamant about celebrating a Thanksgiving wedding with her family and we did just that.
Being that their wedding day took place in late November in Northern Virginia, we were challenged with cold temperatures. Despite the frisky air, Chelsea and Nitin’s wedding ceremony took place outside on the patio just outside the Manor house.
The early evening sunset provided us with some warmth as we took all the formal portraits outdoors. We took intermittent breaks so we wouldn’t freeze into popsicles, but overall it was a very smooth process.
This intimate celebration set the stage for the extravaganza awaiting them in India just a few weeks later. While I didn’t get the opportunity to tell part two of their story, I was fortunate to tell part one and have such fond memories from their intimate Historic Rosemont Manor wedding day.
It’s such a perk to document two different cultures coming together and becoming one big family. Aside from the endless moments of pure happiness and fun-filled shenanigans, the opportunity to help families come together and start a new generation of love is a highlight of every wedding day.
