This Willow Brook wedding from 2023 was wildly successful thanks to the awesome couple and team that made it possible.
I met Allyson and Hermes at a Maryland wedding back in 2022. Allyson was a bridesmaid at the wedding (which I was photographing). After breaking the ice with the wedding party, she mentioned to me how she was starting to plan a wedding in Leesburg the following year. After meeting Hermes about an hour later, I could tell they were a fun-loving couple who wanted to have a memorable wedding experience without feeling like the center of attention.
During our initial call, they mentioned again that they didn’t want many formal photos. Instead, they wanted candid coverage of their wedding day. This was music to my ears because I love working with couples and helping them design the wedding day of their dreams. I’m thrilled that my photography style resonated with them, as photography plays a significant role on the wedding day. Since we had already met, the entire planning process proceeded smoothly and seamlessly.
This was an ultra fun wedding day and I was genuinely happy for Allyson and Hermes, especially having learned about all the groundwork they laid to make this day special for not only them but also their loved ones. They even set up the reception space all by themselves! It was a very unique and fun wedding day.
